Okay, here it is. My new bio. It needed a serious revamping so I deleted it and am starting over.






I am Monica and I am fabulous. I'm 23, live in "upstate" New York (I have no idea how Westchester is "upstate" but whatever), have awesome friends, and a pretty good life.

I attend the Masters of Psychology program at SUNY New Paltz. I recieved my diploma for my BA in Psychobiology in May 2006. I'm a huge dork and will talk about psychological disorders and psychopharmaceuticals for hours. Eventually I would like to go for my PhD in Biopsychology, but it's not financially feasible right now. Hopefully, once I’m done with school, I’ll be able to research new pharmaceuticals that target psychological disorders.

I like all types of music. Mostly stuff with a punk/ska influence, but I'm generally very open. Hobbies are fairly new to me, I like to write, take pictures and spend time outside. However, James, king of the DVD's, prefers life indoors, near his precious collection. But now that we have a portable DVD player, I may be able to convince him to spend more time outside. Here's hoping.

In order to know and understand me, you must know that I love NASCAR. My Sundays (or Saturday nights) are almost completely devoted to NASCAR. It's almost like a soap opera with testosterone at times, but I love it anyway. There is so much more to NASCAR than making lefts for 500 miles. If you wanna talk NASCAR, I am always around.

Me, my mom & dad. My mother works at BOCES with children who are diagnosed with Aspergers, which is a developmental/psychological disorder along the Autism spectrum. I'm interested to see how she works out with them. My father works for UPS and works forever and a day. I barely get to see him. He's a stickler for the rules, and tries his hardest to do the right thing. He's a good guy living in the wrong time period.


This is my sister Lindsay. She wants to work on animation for video games, I think. She's artsy. She goes to college in Ohio, or is just in Ohio now. Idk what's going on with her. We never see her . . . this is a good thing. check out her lj: Primarycolors



This is James, my fiancee. We dated for 4 years, and then he popped the question only 3 weeks after me moving in with him. I love him very much. Right now he is the Systems Coordinator at Active International dealing with advertising sales for radio stations across the country. He just started but they think he's awesome anyway. James aspires to be King of Radio because he is very much a dork. He is also Blockbuster, with over 2300 dvds. He's got both a Livejournal and myspace


The Fergusons. Jim, Helene, Cory, Christa, me and James. They are my future in-laws. This was on our vacation to South Carolina summer 07.


Goggles and Kites (aka: Jessica, Therese, Brittany, and Molly). We met while working at Eckerd about ever ago. We have had many crazy days/evenings/whenevers. We're nuts and absolutely fucking awesome.
